Pikmin dsigner Masamichi Abe is said to be working on a new Nintendo IP, according to a tweet from his former colleague, Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada.
He is in Nintendo Kyoto now. working on some Nintendo original title RT@2Andrin what happened to Masamichi Abe? Is he retired?

Polygon spotted Harada’s tweet.
Abe has worked on Tekken 2, the first two Pikmin titles, Metroid Prime: Hunters and Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again. It’s unclear what this new Nintendo IP is.
