Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 demo out in Japan, contents & new costume DLC detailed

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 has received a demo in Japan, along with new costume DLC. One outfit is a must-see for Moogle fans. Seriously.

It follows the Lighting Returns: Final Fantasy 13 intro video. Watch it through the link.

Siliconera reports that the Japanese demo is the same section showcased at E3. it gives players a chance to fight giant dragon Zaltys and posts in-game screenshots to Twitter and Facebook.

Users with a Japanese PSN account can download the demo now, but the Xbox 360 version requires a Japanese Xbox Live gold account.

The site also details three new pieces of costume DLC. You'll find images in our gallery below. There's the Moogle Queen outfit Moogle Stick weapon, and Moogle Shield set, a Holy Asgard set with Cosmo Curator garb outfit, Crocea Mors weapon, and Abyss Gate shield, and finally, an Ultimate Liberator set with Celestial outfit, Excalibur sword and Aegis Shield.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 hits PS3 and Xbox One in North America on February 11, then in the UK and Europe from February 14.
