Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare releases for Xbox One and Xbox 360 in February

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will be shipping for Xbox One and Xbox 360 in February.

The third-person action multiplayer shooter was built using Frostbite 3, and spans 10 maps and three distinct modes including two 12v12 competitive multiplayer modes: Garden & Graveyards and Team Vanquish. The other is a four-player co-op mode called Garden Ops.

In Garden & Graveyards, plants must defend their garden bases from zombies attempting to turn them into spooky graveyards.

Team Vanquish has players truing to send the other team to the compost pile and in Garden Ops, players will battle waves of zombies.

On Xbox One, Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare includes two extra modes including local cooperative split screen and Boss Mode which players can utilize Kinect or SmartGlass support their teams.

Players have a top-down view of the battlefield and can help out their teammates with intel, health drops, revive stations and explosive artillery strikes.

Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare is available for pre-order at retailers and through EA's Origin service.

The game releases on February 18 in North America, February 20 n Europe and February 21 in the UK for £34.99 for Xbox One and £24.99 for Xbox 360.

PvZ: Garden Warfare will be released on PC at a later date.
