Wii U system update 4.0.2 released

Nintendo has released a system update for Wii U. According to the firm, update 4.0.2 improves "overall system stability" and includes some minor adjustments "to enhance the user experience". A system update for 3DS is coming next month which not only brings Miiverse to the system, but allows users to combine their eShop balances on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Network IDs are also coming to 3DS and will be required in order to combine the aforementioned eShop balances; 3DS owners will still be able to download software from the eShop without being forced to use a NNID.
