Towerfall Ascension coming to PlayStation 4

PS4 has nabbed one of the Ouya's most notable debut titles. Towerfall Ascension is a "greatly refined" version of the four-player combat platformer, and will arrive on PlayStation 4 early next year.

Sony's latest indie coup was revealed during Spike TV's PS4 All Access event tonight, as evidenced by the trailer below.

Very little is known so far except that the new version has new arenas, archers and powerups, and features an all-new co-op mode.

Although it's best known as one of Ouya's success stories, Towerfall is also coming to PC, and was recently delayed into January 2014. Since we don't have a date for the PS4 version yet, it's possible they'll crop up simultaneously. It's not yet clear if the PC and PS4 versions will differ, or support cross-play with other platforms.
