Amazon UK: new PS4 & Xbox One orders will not arrive for Christmas

Amazon UK has updated its PS4 product page to warn customers that any orders made after November 13 will not make it to the buyer in time for Christmas. Xbox One orders on the other hand, "may" not be delivered in time.

It follows the PS4 launch in North America and Canada last night. We've got rolling coverage here, and a PS4 essentials post that covers the console's spec, games, features and announcements in full.

Now, Amazon UK has updated its PS4 product page with a message that reads, "Customers who pre-ordered this console from August 7 up to and including November 13 will receive their consoles before Christmas. Customers who pre-order this console from November 14 will receive their consoles after Christmas."

Similarly, the Xbox One product page has been updated to say, "Please note: Due to high demand, customers who ordered this Xbox One Standard Edition console from August 15 may receive their console after release date. Orders placed up to and including August 14 will be dispatched to meet the release date. Orders placed from November 13 may not be delivered before Christmas."
