Forza Motorsport 5 has received a duo of new trailers courtesy of Turn10 and the chaps at Top Gear. They cover the disciplines of GT racing and muscle cars.

The footage follows comments from Dan Greenawalt, who revealed that Forza 5 Drivatar opponents will have seven difficulty brackets depending on how good their creators are. They also have anti-cheat and troll filters.

Forza 5 hits Xbox One on November 22. Here are those trailers in full:

Muscle Cars:

The Vista gfx are really nice and I really like this mode. The problem is when you’re on the track…

What problems? The sound and graphics of the cars are amazing.

I see no problems here, only greatness.

Most likely it’ll be the best reviewed launch title too.

@2 True. This and Killzone have to tie for best looking next-gen launch titles (though, y’know, genre-gap) and I can easily see this getting an average 9/10 kinda score. It’s all-round mighty impressive for a launch title.

    “graphics of the cars”
Yeah. Plastic looking cars with bland current-gen textures and road that barely is looking like road.

Without any shadows, decent lightning, grass, textures and so on and on. – in comparison.

Watch the launch trailer. Screenshots does no game justice. Watch it in motion instead.

Yes Project Cars looks great, but it should as it’s running on PC’s which are the equivalent of 4 XB1′s. Doesn’t look 4 times better though.

I watched in motion every trailer. Same thing (even worse. some cars without Anti-aliasing) and yes Project Cars look not 4 times better. It looks 15 times better.
Road alone looks a lot better with realistic bump-mapping, shadows, lightning rain drops and Fog alone.
If you can’t see a difference. you need a specialist.

and I’m super excited to see Project Cars on consoles and laugh.

Ofcourse it looks better, but again it’s running on high end PC’s. Comparing the visuals to Project Cars makes no sense whatsoever.

Bottom line is it looks amazing considering the specs of XB1.

Ok, I definetly like these pics with all those filters that doesn’t match the in game trailers at all…very promising and it always reminds me of GT promo pics.
The trailers though speak a different language. The car models are way less detailed, less varnish texture layers, worse enviorment mapping and overscaled reflections which are definetly not better and so are the track sourroundings. The textures are great indeed and the bump mapping is also better…the raindrops on the other hand look very artifical and generic. So it has its strengths, but fact is that the cars alone only have about 1/3 to 1/2 of the Polygons of a Forza 5 car.

By the way, Project Cars was cancelld for Current Gen and is coming to Next Gen.

I’m looking forward to that too!

You were planning on driving more then 200 cars? I played every Forza game and don’t remember ever using more then 20-30 cars.

I just don’t like how XboxOne has horrible Anti Aliasing. The games have so many jaggies it looks awful.
Ah well at least theres games to play unlike PS4 which will be the next Wii console, collecting dust.

    Why bother?
Both of you have been going into the very same argument in almost every article about Forza.

Yes, Project Cars is undoubtedly going to look better, just how a GTR is supposed to be faster than a Golf, which makes any comparison between them moot because it wasn’t supposed to be comparable in the first place.
There is absolutely no argument to be made there.

I see Erthazus on here all the time, and pretty much every time he’s arguing with someone. Grade A bell end.
