Tuesday, 12th November 2013 14:59 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Xbox One’s multitasking Snap feature has been demonstrated by Microsoft’s chief marketing and strategy officer, Yusuf Mehdi, and you can watch it in action below. The feature allows the user to search the Internet, watch YouTube and play a game all at the same time. Perfect for the ADD crowd. Xbox One is out on November 22.

If I was able to stream mkvs from my laptop, I could definitely use this.

Though it’d be nice if the snap could be horizontal instead of widescreen – seems a bit silly having all that empty space when watching a video.

I find it funny how he is using Major Nelson’s login. I wonder if the Major knew that? Hmmmm….

If they implement a feature allowing more control over the audio mix (turning audio off for separate sources, or adjusting volume per source) then that’d be great.

Forza does look bad on this vid (worse than the direct feed vids atleast), but watch a direct feed one and your fears will be put to rest.

Snapping is pretty cool I have to admit. With voice command that is. Its swift and accurate. I’ll be damned.

Looks like a brilliant feature. Xbox One’s OS features really are appealing to me, just a shame its games dont!

    “Perfect for the ADD crowd.”

We multitask all the time. Imagine playing Killer Instinct and having a YouTube video demonstrating how to perform a combo simultaneously on your screen, instead of switching your focus constantly between two devices, it’s all on your TV.

Video chatting with a friend through Skype while gaming could be a fun as well.
