Ubisoft suggests PS4 pre-orders are ahead of Xbox One

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot was asked today during a financial call to investors whether the company was worried over Xbox One retail performance.

During the call Guillemot hinted that pre-orders for PS4 may be higher in Europe, but the company wasn't worried.

"Even if the PS4 is in front of Xbox One pre-orders, we are not worried at all," said Guillemot. "We think [Xbox One] will be a best-seller as well."

During gamescom, Sony stated that over one million PS4 pre-orders had been placed worldwide, and in October, analyst Michael Pachter stated those figures could be around 1.5 million units.

PS4 releases in North America on Friday and in Europe on November 29. Xbox One releases in both regions on November 22.
