Ryse: Son of Rome will miss some multiplayer features at launch, Crytek confirms

Ryse: Son of Rome will ship without the game's online 'Challenge Editor' component, associate producer Michael Smart has confirmed.

It follows this new Ryse: Son of Rome gameplay trailer, and Stace's hands-on impressions from Microsoft's pre-launch Xbox One showcase.

Speaking with DigitalSpy, Smart confirmed that the editor - which applies to the game's Gladiator multiplayer component - "won't be available at launch." It allows players to create custom playlists of events and maps.

Smart added, "Right now we're discussing when that'll be available," and added that SmartGlass functionality will be part of the mode.

You'll find my Ryse: Son of Rome multiplayer preview through the link. I wasn't all that impressed.
