Mode 7's Frozen Endzone to enter beta this month

Frozen Synapse developer, Mode 7, has announced its next game, Frozen Endzone, will open its public beta at the end of November.

The tactical future sport game uses turn-based strategy mechanics very similar to its predecessor. Frozen Endzone has players design a "play" to try to get the ball into their opponent's endzone, predicting the other team's movements and using the randomised terrain to their advantage.

The beta will feature several multiplayer game modes and some randomised single player challenges, wrapped in the electronic, futuristic art style and soundtrack of the main game. Early adopters will receive the full version upon release, as well as a free key to pass along to a friend, because what good is sport without opponents?
