DICE has issued a server update for Battlefield 4 which is being rolled out across PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The developer said the update should “fix some of the most common server crashes across all platforms,” improving server stability.

Full notes:

-Fixed two of the most common server crashes (All platforms)
-The “admin.say” command should now work properly (PC)
-The “vars.preset” command should now work better in conjunction with other vars settings (PC) (It is now easier for server admins to set a server preset)
-Fixed a bug in the queue system regarding GUID (PC)
-Fixed various minor bugs (PC)

Am I the only one who’s experienced none of these bugs at all so far? Maybe I’m just lucky. Still…

They need to add something in the way of an option to squad up before you enter an MP game for your friends/clan mates. At present you can only hope to join a game with enough spaces available for you to invite in your peeps. That’s annoying.

I’m loving everything else though (PS3 player count limitations notwithstanding).’Battlepacks’, the changes to the player classes, ‘Missions’, counter-melees…excellent additions all.

I have been getting the server crashes on the PC. Quite annoying as there was a point it happened a few times in a row.

Think I’ve pretty much experienced every bug/crash in the game, yet I love BF4.

I certainly hope it gets fixed soon though, it’s still a bit annoying.

game crashed big time, while I was playing it on win7 with no more than 40-45 fps then with hesitation being skeptical about that whole “minimum requirements” windows 8 thing, I’ve picked up, opened and installed already dusted win8 and to my surprise I must say it hasn’t crashed ever since and now I run on 65-70 no probs :)
