Super Time Force's "single-player co-op" explained

Super Time Force has players rewinding time to play alongside themselves in a Contra-style platformer; it's a simple concept, but the gameplay possibilities only become obvious when you see it in action. In this trailer, Capybara Games explains the mechanic for those of us whose brains work best in three dimensions, not four.

Complicating matters, each of the characters in Super Time Force has a unique ability, so combining them unlocks even more potential for messing about with the old wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey.

Super Time Force is expected on Xbox Live Arcade this year, and is a timed exclusive. Developer Caybara Games was also responsible for Critter Crunch and Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP, and is behind upcoming Xbox One timed exclusive Below.
