Ridge Racer: Unbounded dev takes 'Next Car Game' to Kickstarter

Ridge Racer: Unbounded developer Bugbear Entertainment has taken its new project - dubbed 'Next Car Game' - to Kickstarter, following its successful run on Steam Greenlight.

We reported that the studio is accepting pre-orders for the game over on Steam Greenlight here. You'll find some screens and a trailer over at the game's hub.

Now, Bugbear has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the project, to the tune of $350,000. It has raised $19,121 so far with 27 days spare.

Coming from the makers of FlatOut, you can expect brutal demolition derby smash-ups, mad physics and more. The studio has given more insight in this behind-the-scenes trailer:

The game is slated for release on Steam, Windows and the Humble Store, with PS4 and Xbox One as stretch goals.
