Pokémon X & Y: over ten million Pokémon have been exchanged, says Masuda

Pokémon X & Y's success is no secret and Game Freak director Junichi Masuda's revealed impressive numbers for the RPG. Masuda has revealed that over ten million Pokémon have been exchanged in Pokémon X & Y since launch.

The news comes out of Spanish game convention 'Salon del Manga de Barcelona', where Masuda reportedly revealed the numbers. Nintenderos via (Nintendo Life) also reports that Masuda expressed interest in making more Mega Evolutions.

Nintendo Life adds that StreetPass and online multiplayer for the 3DS is to thank for the great numbers.

While Pokémon X & Y sold over 4 million unites worldwide when it came out last month, the latest release seems to be losing traction faster than the previous outing, Pokémon Black & White.
