GOG marks down Ubisoft’s catalog by 60 percent

This weekend’s big sale on GOG is particularly notable because it’s a 60-percent markdown on every Ubisoft game they have, which includes Assassin’s Creed: Director’s Cut, Beyond Good and Evil, Rayman Origins, Splinter Cell, Far Cry 2 and so on. Some names there.

Thanks a bunch Phil you saved my life, time, and happiness.

Gog is a site I am aware of but never check for some reasons, I just keep forgetting about it.
I did not purchase any Ubisoft title though some were interesting.
But I was able to find old, old gems called Ishar series which I lost in process switching countries and also Stonekeep.

I know, call me old but those games were deep to my heart and fun.

    Thanks a bunch!

Saw the picture of Pej’j before I registered the headline – got excited for BGaE2 news… le sigh.

Beyond Good & Evil and Rayman remind me that there’s a better side to Ubisoft, and to aim all of my ire at their Montreal studio, which nothing good ever seems to come from.

I heartily recommend BG&E, though, as one of the best games Ubisoft has ever put out. Very representative of that wonderful French imagination they sometimes embrace so earnestly.

    I know, right?
