Smash Bros Wii U adds male Wii Fit Trainer to character roster

Super Smash Bros. has received a new character on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. It's the male Wii Fit Trainer. I'm guessing some of you would have liked someone a little more prolific.
Series producer Masahiro Sakurai posted the above image on his MiiVerse feed, along with the message, "The trial version of Wii Fit U is available now! We'd like to share this pic to commemorate the occasion."
It's still not known if the male Trainer is a playable fighter. It could just be an alternate skin for the playable female version. What do you think?
