Call of Duty: Ghosts pre-load available on PS3 from November 3

Call of Duty: Ghosts developer Infinity Ward has confirmed that PS3 owners who pre-order the shooter can pre-load it from November 3, two days before it launches.

It was confirmed over on PS Blog US by director of digital distribution Pierre Gravereau.

Anyone who orders the game from PSN US will be able to pre-install it from 6pm Eastern, 3pm Pacific. Doing so enables gamers to play the shooter as soon as it goes live at 00:01 Pacific on November 5.

Gravereau added that there will be a double XP weekend taking place Friday, November 8 at 10am Pacific to Monday, November 11 at 10am Pacific.

We'll have European and UK times as they are confirmed.

Meanwhile, Infinity Ward's Mark Rubin has confirmed that Call of Duty: Ghosts runs at native 720p on Xbox One and 1080p on PS4.
