Wednesday, 30th October 2013 10:20 GMT By Dave Cook

FIFA will be getting some kind of World Cup content to tie in with the Brazilian tourney next year. It was announced during EA’s investor call last night, but it’s not yet clear if this is a full game or an expansion for FIFA 14.

We reported on the full investor call here, during with EA confirmed that Titanfall is not coming to PS4.

SeekingAlpha picked up on CEO Andrew Wilson’s mention of FIFA World Cup.

He said, “In the last 2 weeks, you’ve also seen several announcements about our product slate for the remainder of this year and into FY ’15. We are refining our focus on our biggest brands and great new IP in development, including The Sims 4, EA SPORTS UFC, FIFA World Cup and Dragon Age: Inquisition.”

We’ll have more on this as it transpires. Would you like to see this come out as DLC? Let us know below.

    Platforms?

LOL :) i’m starting to think EA don’t know what New IP means when they list Dragon’s Age Inquisition and The Sims 4, granted they said biggest brands as well but come on what New IP was mentioned?

@1 When they say new IP, they surely want to mean the new game Visceral Games is currently working on (+ a new SW game in early development), the new Bioware IP currently in early development and Battlefront already or soon to be in development by Dice (yeah it’s not necessarily a new IP but as a new IP for EA, they consider it to be one).

“The Sims 4, EA SPORTS UFC, FIFA World Cup and Dragon Age: Inquisition.””

That’s pretty much a list of games Dave. Expect a full game release, like every other world cup.

For anyone who wants to know: EA haven’t decided if this is a standalone release or a expansion.

Or haven’t announced their true intentions.
