Assassin's Creed 4 PlayStation exclusives not coming to other platforms

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag's PlayStation exclusive DLC won't be coming to any other platforms, Ubisoft has confirmed.

Although platform exclusive content often comes to other systems after a limited period of exclusivity, the Assassin's Creed publisher told Eurogamer that's not the case this time.

The hour of extra levels starring Aveline, first seen in Vita title Assassin's Creed: Liberation, will only ever be available on PlayStation 3 and PS4, Ubisoft said.

More explicitly, a representative told Joystiq that "the PS exclusive DLC isn't planned for Xbox 360/Xbox One".

Doubts about the content's exclusivity arose after a North American trailer suggested the exclusivity period was six months long.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag hit PS3 and Xbox 360 yesterday, and is coming to PC, PS4, Wii U and Xbox One in November.
