Valve announced the game’s Steam launch on Twitter, and you can check out its product page here.

The game is £12.99, but if you already own the base game you can get 50% off the additional content. Also, if you have The Missing Link DLC installed you can get an extra 25% off.

The director’s cut includes “The Missing Link” and “Tongs Mission” DLC packs, Intel Screen Control compatibility, new and improved boss battles, a New Game+ feature, a making of video and new augmentations.

  • Processor: 2 GHz dual core
  • Memory: 2 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 8000 series or ATI Radeon HD 2000 series or better

  • Hard Drive: 17 GB available space
  • Sound Card: 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible sound device

    That’s nice, when I logged in to Steam the price changed as it recognised that I have the full game and DLC already. Seems like a good time for another run through of DX:HR :)

    Just bought the upgrade on steam and it wont let me install I think they messed up the release in the UK. Will have to wait for them to unlock it latter I suppose.

    Strangely, my game froze mid-play. Never happened with DX:HR. Or any other game I own… Hmmmmmmmm.
