Injustice signs up to Sony's PS3-PS4 digital upgrade plan

NetherRealm's DC-licensed fighter Injustice: Gods Among Us is the newest member of Sony's PlayStation 3 - PlayStation 4 digital upgrade programme. This means that, for a limited period, then you buy the disc or digital version of the game on PS3, you can get a discount on a digital copy of the game on PS4.

Others games that are part of the program are Call of Duty: Ghosts, Battlefield 4, Assassin's Creed 4, and NBA 2K14.

This how it works: the PS3 version of the game comes complete with a code. You redeem this code on PSN to get your discount, and then use the PS3 disc in the PS4 console to activate the next-gen version of the game. If you bought it digitally on PS3, the PlayStation Store will automatically offer you a discount on the PS4 version.

So if you're still enjoying Injustice, there's no need to give it up when your shiny new PS4 arrives.

Thanks, Eurogamer.
