Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD will be released on Xbox 360 in January through Xbox Live.

The game was announced for PS3 yesterday with the PC release scheduled for the day after, January 15 – which is also when the game will release in Europe on PSN.

It will release sometime in January on XBL, but an exact date was not provided in the press release.

The digital release will run you $19.99/ £15.99 and each mission has been reworked in order to improve its pacing and challenge, and new missions specific to Aveline’s Personas have been added as well.

In addition, for a limited time only, all players that purchase or have already purchased the season pass for Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag on Xbox 360 will receive 25% off the purchase of Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD at its release.
