Swedish McDonalds to launch burger named after Counter-Strike team

The McNIP, named after the 13-year-old Counter-Strike and League of Legends team Ninjas in Pyjamas will at Swedish McDonalds next week after a big fan of the team won a competition to name the burger.

The beef based burger will be available for just a week and integrates such innovative burger ingredients as lettuce, bacon, multiple layers of cheese and onions.

Ninjas in Pyjamas on the other hand was a successful Counter-Strike 1.6 team that recently expanded very successfully into Counter-Strike: Global Operations, where the team went on an eight month winning streak. The team is one of the favourites to win Dreamhack's Global Offensive tournament, which boasts a prize pool of $250,000.

The team's recently launched League of Legends team, made up of former Copenhagen Wolves members, has met with less success.
