Proteus will be released on PS3 and PS Vita next week on October 29 in North America and in Europe and Australia October 30 through PlayStation Network. The exploration game was released earlier this year for PC. The game will be part of the Cross Buy system for the consoles and will contain the ability to generate in-game islands based on players’ real world locations. These will also effect Proteus’ environment. Brenna got her hands on it earlier this year and liked it very much. Thanks, Eurogamer.

  • Proteus: homesick for unfamiliar places

Proteus is an art game with a capital Art, so much so that it’s reignited the old “what is game” debate. But regardless of its medium, it’s a beautiful, evocative experience which you’ll either love or be puzzled by.
