Battlefield 4 is out in just over a week and you will be able to download the game on PC 24 hours prior to its launch.

The confirmation comes by way of the official Origin Twitter.

If you want something to hold you over until the shooter’s launch, make sure you watch our interviews with Executive Producer Patrick Bach, here and here. You can also see everything that’ll be included in that pre-load from here.

Battlefield 4 launches October 29 in North America and November 1 in Europe, next-gen versions will launch alongside the consoles.

Wow. Last time I tried to download something off Origin the service was apparently swamped and it took ages. I can only imagine that this is gonna run at like 200kbs for everyone. If at all.

No point getting it straight up.

It’s just like any other game – needs more time to fix bugs. It’s better to wait until it’s near the best it could possibly be.

I’ve decided to wait 20 or more days until the Xbox One comes out to get it on launch.
