Destiny beta code giveaways begin this week

Bungie will begin distributing beta codes for shared-worlds shooter Destiny this week, according to a post on the game's Facebook Page. Although this particular batch of codes will be distributed through social media, it's a fair bet that more predictable distribution is on the way, so make sure you've registered on the website; pre-ordering also nets you beta access. Destiny is due on PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in the first half of 2014; we're expecting a beta in the first quarter.
