Sony has kicked the PS4 marketing machine into gear with the release of a new TV spot during US prime time and a spiffy new community-focused website.
The new commercial is live action and has shades of several major releases; not sure where Sony is going with the Skyrim vibe, given the lack of fantasy RPGs in the PlayStation 4’s launch line up; maybe it’s supposed to the The Elder Scrolls Online, which is due on the console sometime in 2014. Killzone: Shadow Fall and DriveClub are definitely launch titles representin’, though; check it out below.
Sony has also launched a new website called PS4: Greatness Awaits. Users are invited to contribute their own little slices of greatness – tweets, Instagrams, and so on – to be featured on the site.
The PlayStation 4 launches on November 15 in North America and November 29 in Europe.
