Lacrosse 14 inbound from AFL, Rugby developer Big Ant Studios

Leave no sport behind: Lacrosse 14 is headed to PC and current-gen consoles thanks to a crowdfunded sim.

Lacrosse 14 is a joint project from Big Ant Studios, the Australian team behind Rugby League Live 2 and AFL Live, and Pittsburgh-based crew Crosse Studio, which has produced half a dozen Lacrosse games so far, including licensed titles.

It's headed to PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 assuming it can secure funding through a Kickstarter, due to launch in northern spring 2014. Rewards will include the opportunity to appear in-game.

The developers boast of "high quality graphics, multi-year dynasty mode, competitive online multiplayer, and in-depth character customisation".

"Together, as a lacrosse community, we will create history by building a video game that captures the authenticity and realism of lacrosse like never before," Cross Studio founder Carlo Sunseri said.
