Borderlands 2 Loot Hunt begins, celebratory video released

Borderlands 2: Game of the Year Edition was released on Tuesday, and with the Mac version hitting yesterday, and the Loot Hunt underway, 2K Games and Gearbox Studios have released a celebratory trailer.

The Loot Hunt started yesterday, and for four weeks, prizes will be handed out by Borderlands characters which provide targets for the week. These targets will drop unique loot 100% of the time, and if you beat the target, you are entered to win a prize. You have to be playing online, obviously.

Four weekly cash prizes will be doled out starting at $5,000 all the way to the grand prize of $50,000.

Other prizes include Vitas, copies of Borderlands 2 Vita, and items from Turtle Beach, NVIDIA, and BradyGames which are co-sponsors of the Loot Hunt.

So, log in the game and get to shooting things.
