Xbox One is expected to outsell PlayStation 4 this holiday season - UK retail chain

Xbox One is expected to outsell PlayStation 4 this holiday season, at least according to UK chain John Lewis' head tech buyer Jonathan Marsh.

Speaking with Trusted Reviews, Marsh said Xbox One has the edge due to its game line-up and Xbox Live service.

"We are expecting more interest in the Xbox One," Marsh said. "We are stocking both the PS4 and the Xbox One but if we were to back one, we are thinking that Xbox One will appeal a bit more to our customers in terms of the experience it creates."

Marsh said he feel the console will appeal more to the chain's consumer base, and is also basing his opinion on what the firm has "experienced in the past" with Microsoft consoles.
