Oculus hosting free VR conference to address future of the tech

Oculus Rift's creators will hold a free conference on November 2 that addresses the future of VR technology.

Oculus VR announced the conference over on its homepage. Dubbed, 'Future of Virtual Reality w/ Oculus VR: Educators, Entrepreneurs, Employment', the event will be hosted by the company's COO Laird Malamed. It takes place at Microsoft's New England Research & Development centre.

Throughout the day 'multiple' Boston-based developers will present sessions that discuss the implementation of Oculus VR mechanics in their titles. Other sessions will look at employment opportunities at he company, entrepreneurial pursuits, hardware-hacking discussions, and the future of VR as a gaming staple.

The latest HD edition of the headset will also be usable at the event.

Donations will be taken at he event and given to Boston Children's Hospital.
