US PS Store update, October 8 - Disgaea D2, Dishonored GotY, F1 2013, more

This week's North American PlayStation Store update is packed with new games, which is just the way we like it.

As we trundle towards the holiday season the release schedule is starting to warm up, so there are quite a few full PS3 games this week; check out new releases Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness, Just Dance 2014 and F1 2013. That last one is also available in a classic edition, and Rebellion has made Sniper Elite V2 available for digital purchase at last.

On the PSN, there's Atomic Ninjas, which is a cross-buy title, Battle of Tiles Ex - a fantasy strategy game and not Mahjong, apparently - and Orc Attack: Flatulent Rebellion.

For Vita alone, there's Malicious Rebirth and Worms Revolution Extreme. Rounding out the games is one PS2 classic - Heavenly Guardian.

There are a couple of decent bundles, though - the Dishonored Game of the Year re-release and DUST 514: Tactical edition; hey, if you're going to spend money on a free-to-play title, why not do it upfront and save a few bucks?

PlayStation Plus would be a bit grim this week if the single game it contains were not such a corker, but it is - Shadow of the Colossus. There are also a wide range of discounts on offer.

As for DLC, there's new content for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate Core Fighters, Dynasty Warriors 8, F1 2013, Hatsune Miku Project Diva F, Just Dance 2014, Malicious Rebirth, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 and Zombie Driver HD.
