MadCatz will release its M.O.J.O. Android-console in December. It will support loads of different storefronts and along with playing Android games you can stream films and music as well. Games and movies will run in 1080p on your TV and it comes with Google Play and Nvidia TegraZone pre-installed – so everything previously purchased by users through both of those services will be downloadable through the cloud on your new, shiny console. M.O.J.O costs £219.99/$249.99 and will be out on December 10. Thanks, Eurogamer.

Why would anyone buy this? $250 for a device to play more Android games. Are they serious? There is already the Ouya for $100. Most people already have an Android phone or a Kindle anyways, so why would they bother with this crap. No one is going to have any money anyways after Black Friday. Most gamers will be getting a PS4 or XB1 and anyone else will be buying Christmas gifts in advance. So by Dec 10, most shoppers will be flat broke.

So I can buy a WiiU for 50$ more and Ps4/Xbox one for 150-250 more. Really? For android games? Who are they trying to compete with here?
