Ikaruga appears on Steam Greenlight, voting now open

Ikaruga - the quite brilliant yet teeth-gnashingly brutal shooter from Treasure - has appeared on Steam Greenlight. You can vote it up or down now.

Back in the day this was seen as something of leverage in high school. "What? You HAVEN'T played Ikaruga on Dreamcast? GTFO." Yeah, we were fanboy dicks back then. Memories.

Anyway, the Ikaruga Steam Greenlight page can be found here. It's an intense shooter that sees you flipping your ship between black and white modes to repel black and white bullets. Simply be the same colour as the bullets to avoid being killed. It sounds like a simple mechanic, but man is it tough.

The Steam build will come with gamepad support, two-player co-op, and two-player local play on one controller. It retains all of its features from the original on top.
