Call of Duty: Ghosts trailer details Squads

Thursday, 3rd October 2013 18:29 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Call of Duty: Ghosts has a new video available in which Infinity Ward explains Squads, which is described as “a whole new level of competition.”

Squads lets you play a variety of new game modes with your customized squad-mates in multiplayer solo against another player and their squad, or cooperatively with friends, competing versus an AI-controlled squad.

The XP earned in Squads is directly connected to your multiplayer progress as well. Find out more on it below.

Call of Duty: Ghosts releases on PC, PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360 on November 5. The PS4 and Xbox One versions land alongside the new consoles.

Color me interested, but I hope Infinity Ward will be a lot less shoddy this time around.

MW3 was a right mess, and it didn’t really do anything amazing. This sounds like a pretty complicated feature, so hopefully they’ve sharpened up.

CoD will not be able to beat BF this year, no matter how much they try. Squads can only work on BF.

This looks like a tonne of fun. I am really looking forward to squads mode as well as the clan wars.

@4 that’s highly opinion based, unless you’re talking about sales numbers, in which case the opposite is true. COD always destroys BF in sales. In the long run I plan to play both games.

It’s not really comparable to BF squads. It’s basically a really advanced bot mode.

Well, hopefully a really advanced bot mode.

You’re headed for disappointment come November.
