Rogue Legacy coming to Linux and Mac soon, will add save slots

Wednesday, 25th September 2013 23:54 GMT By Brenna Hillier

Cellar Door is planning an update to Rogue Legacy which will make the indie rogue-like cross-platform and add the ability to make multiple saves.

Shack News reports the upcoming patch will add Linux and Mac versions of the game to Steam, and add save slots, so you can maintain multiple characters.

The developer actually has further plans, including a bunch of free content, but has decided to push it back to a second title update so as to get the first batch of changes out more quickly. Cellar Door isn’t able to give specifics yet, unfortunately.

Rogue Legacy is available now on PC, and it’s heading to PS4 and Vita.

Nice to see games like this coming to Linux. But I have noticed recently a lot of indie games are being ported to Windows, Mac, Linux and some consoles.

Definitely getting this next time it’s on sale in Steam!
