SimCity: Cities of the Future expansion due in November

Thursday, 19th September 2013 16:58 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

SimCity will be getting a new expansion called Cities of the Future, which takes the player 50-75 years into the future. Players can add emergency service drones, megatowers, skybridges, and more to their cities. Also included is the megacorp feature which processes oil and ore into Omega, a substance which takes over your sims and city. SimCity: Cities of the Future is due on November 12. Screens and a video are through the break.

your still giving the finger to your customers. how can you live with yourself?, releasing this half arsed product filled with drm and unfinished crap.. and now giving out parts of the game that should be given for free with the game on day one sales. i’m in utter shock of this behavior of this company. i strongly advice any customers to vote with their wallets on this one and dont buy it.

This is actually really rather neat. I dig the visual aesthetic of this pack. Not enough to draw me into SimCity, but still, I can’t help but appreciate what the artists have done with it.

Ooh. Screenshots and a video, those weren’t there before, were they? Did I miss those? Sorry.

Anyway, this is even more tempting, now, as I only glimpsed a bit of it via a Google search earlier. Damn them for exploiting my love of sci-fi cityscapes. :I

I’m still not sure if SimCity is for me, but fair play, they did a good job with this. It reminds me of Anno 2070 and Blade Runner in really nice ways.

    Damn them.

Okay. Fine. I may just look into the current state of SimCity.
