Major League Gaming announces board appointment of Houston Rockets GM Daryl Morey

Major League Gaming has announced the addition of Daryl Morey, GM of the Houston Rockets, to its board of directors. The firm also announced Greg Chisholm is the firm's new CFO and Allen De La Cruz is SVP of engineering.

Morey joined MLG’s Board of Directors to work with both the board and executive team to help the company become a "mainstream sports media property".

De La Cruz will help develop MLG’s video streaming and competition platforms while as CFO, Chisholm will be in charge of financial decisions.

“We are incredibly excited to have Morey join our team as we continue to build the first global, truly digital sport,” said Sundance DiGiovanni, co-founder and CEO of MLG. “His experience in the NBA, emphasis on data and technology, and passion for video games, make him the perfect addition and we look forward to benefiting from his knowledge and success.”
