Grand Theft Auto 5 now holds the record for biggest UK games launch

Grand Theft Auto 5 has become the UK’s largest video game launch, according to GfK Chart Track, besting previous record holder Call of Duty: Black Ops. GTA 5 sold 1.57 million units in first day sales, generating £65 million in revenue. Black Ops sold 1.41 million units and garnered £58 million in sales its first day in November 2010.     Truly deserved, so yeah enjoying this game. SPOILERS I THINK, WELL I WARNED YOU ANYWAY…

    Things are going well so far, i guess i haven’t done many exploration and rampages which should be next when i play it again. Although i was surprised at the reference to Niko and even more so when in control of Trevor and seeing how that mission panned out (although i haven’t completed that mission but i’m assuming the worst).

    Of course they deserve it, no matter how much PR/ marketting other pubs do fortheir titles they cannot just remake something of the exact same over and over and just add an adjective to the title to prove it is new.
    Gamers can only be fed so much of the same chicken.
