Ghost ‘n Goblins Online pulled from Steam Greenlight after being posted in error, says Capcom

Ghost ‘n Goblins Online from Seed 9 Games has been taken off Steam Greenlight after being posted by mistake, according to Capcom. The firm said the game was “wrongly posted by the game’s Korean developer,” and there are no plans for a western release of the game. Ghost ‘n Goblins Online was released in Korea, China and Taiwan last year. Capcom did not elaborate on how the game was mistakenly added to Steam Greenlight in the first place. Thanks, Polygon.

WTF …how could a game be put on Greenlight by a mistake? Oh sorry guys, I accidentally pushed this, this, and this, uploaded this and this, accepted this, and loook at that, what happened? I have nothing to do with that!

It’s Capcom, do you really have to ask? Someone probably thought they were updating their tumblr or some shit.

@1 By mistake probably equals “outside of contract”. Capcom, as the rights holder and licensor, likely told Seed9 to fall back. “Mistake” the more tactful version, for our eyes.
