GTA 5 gameplay: watch us drive from Franklin’s house to Mount Chiliad & more

Tuesday, 17th September 2013 17:25 GMT By Dave Cook

Grand Theft Auto 5 sees the return of Mount Chiliad from San Andreas. Watch VG247′s Dave Cook drive there from Franklin’s house and back down again in reckless style. He also shoots up Los Santos pier.

In this first clip, I drive all the way from Franklin’s house in central Los Santos to Mount Chiliad. Along the way I use his special focus ability which speeds up your car and slows time to let you slip through traffic unharmed. I also take on a train head-on. I’ll leave you to discover how that turns out.

Next, I play as Michael and arm-up with some heavy duty weapons at Ammu-Nation, play around with gun attachments and take on the police force at the Los Santos pier. I try to get on the rollercoaster in the middle of the battle and fail miserably. Check it out:

Are you playing the game yet? If so, what do you think?

@1, 2, don’t be so ungrateful. They put their time into creating the content, and all you do is whinge about.

Only put a couple of hours into the game so far, but loving it to pieces. I haven’t even left the main town area yet, so most of the first video is completely new to me.

Having been to LA, seeing that skyline is a surreal experience.

For comparison, here’s a picture I took while there a few years ago: http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2010/196/1/c/Los_Angeles_Skyscape_by_Words_of_Ivory.jpg
