Mutant League Football successor takes to Kickstarter

Monday, 16th September 2013 16:32 GMT By Dave Cook

Mutant League Football creator Michael Mendheim has launched a Kickstarter for Mutant Football League, a spiritual successor to his 1993 Sega Mega Drive sports romp.

The Kickstarter campaign is live now, and Mendheim is seeking $750,000 in 29 days. The project has raised $2,493 so far and hopes to bring the game to iOS and Android.

In a similar fashion to the original, Mutant Football League throws teams of monsters and brutes against each other on the field, and has them battering each other with bloody and violent tackles. Mendheim also promises deep strategy and plenty of customisation across full season and short play competitive matches.

Check out the project through the link above and let us know what you think.

Wow, what a rollercoaster. I was seriously thinking of donating triple digits to this as soon as I saw the name… And then I saw the iOS and Android thing.

…. Why…. Why would you ever do that?

    Are you fucking kidding me?!
