Persona 3 play will alternate male and female protagonists with each performance

In what is probably one of the most logically translated mechanics from video games to the stage, the Japanese play stage show of Persona 3 will swap between the male and female protagonist of the game on alternating performances. It makes a lot of sense really. Most intensive plays alternate key members of the cast on different nights to avoid the actors getting exhausted, so why not have the otherwise almost identical protagonists of a video on different nights?

The stage show is also set to feature the musical talents of longtime series composer of Shoji Meguro, so lets all feel a moment of envy for the Japanese people who get to go see this next year. If you're a Persona 3 fan though, look out for the first Persona 3 Anime film later this year.
