Final Fantasy Agito gets short gameplay trailer, details

Square Enix have properly announced their upcoming iOS and Android Type-0-esque Final Fantasy Agito and refreshingly, released gameplay footage straight away. Check it out after the break.

Square Enix also announced that the game will be free to play with microtransactions, rare for Squares premium mobile game and the the graphics will be better than the Type-0 on the PSP, which it's unclear how closely the game will resemble.

You will construct your own cipher like primary character and the story will be in part determined by "votes", whether this means in-game or on Facebook. The game will take place in two week chunks. Within those weeks the first ten days will be for solo play and the last four days are for playing alongside your fellow man.

Insofar as the monetisation, you can purchase energy to keep playing after long stretches, as well as items and abilities.
