Vancouver based developer Over The Moon puts Asimov-inspired sci-fi game The Fall on Kickstarter

Vancouver based developer Over The Moon has announced its platformer. The Fall, has landed on Kickstarter.

According to the description, the game focuses around an artificial intelligence called ARID, implanted in the armor of a futuristic soldier.

The game opens with the soldier rendered unconscious, leaving ARID to take control of the suit and attempt to save the soldier's life.

ARID's behaviour is limited by laws of robotics and as she explores The Fall, she fights against her own set of rules to save the life of her human friend.

Inspired heavily by Super Metroid and Monkey Island,players will explore their environments and solve "several traditional adventure game puzzles."

The game needs $17,000 in funding and so far, 285 backers have pledged $9,237. The game is also up for consideration on over on PCgamesN.
