Deep Down detailed for PS4 in Japan: set in 2094, has procedural content

Deep Down has been discussed for PS4 by Capcom's Yoshinori Ono at a Sony event in Japan this morning. Despite its grim, almost medieval appearance, it's actually set in the future. We've got a gameplay trailer inside.

Tweeting the event as it happened, Eurogamer reports that Deep Down is indeed set in 2094 and takes place in New York. The idea is that must read mysteries to solve an over-arching crime.

While Ono confirmed the game will be explained in greater detail at TGS, he teased that the online title would feature random monsters and procedurally generated dungeons. Online multiplayer includes up to four players.
