Destiny community thank you trailer offers new footage

Thursday, 5th September 2013 02:01 GMT By Brenna Hillier

Bungie has hidden some “hints of what’s to come” in this new Destiny trailer, which is a thank you to its fans for support shown over the summer.

Although gamescom and PAX mark the end of the summer trade shows, there are still two major events before we call it for the year – Eurogamer Expo and Tokyo Game Show, both happening later this month.

This video popped up via the PlayStation Blog, where Bungie outlined its special relationship with PlayStation; the game was featured at the PS4 reveal as well as Sony’s E3 presser.

An always-online, shared-worlds shooter, Destiny is expected on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in 2014.

The second coming of Jesus would’ve had less fanfare than this game…

Nice to see some more real stuff – feel like Bungie have been playing their cards a bit too close to the chest.

Sucks 90% of PS4 users won’t play this because it’s always online. And it has super greedy, NSA style DRM that checks up on you 100% of the time.

It’s going to be a ghost town on PS4.

Its an MMO always online for a MMO is to be expected. This is not similar to Xbox One and making the system and thus all games always online. If you are going to make an analogy at least make a good one.

What I hate about this game is that Jesus indeed has less PR then Bungie games…

Although Destiny looks interesting. I like MMO’s.

You are welcome Bungie. We can’t wait to see it in our living rooms.

Just don’t do what Elder Scrolls Online did and charge a subscription, and I’ll be picking this up the day it launches.
