Toybox, the studio led by Harvest Moon creator Yasuhiro Wada, has teamed up with one of the chief creatives behind Deadly Premonition and the creator of Tokyo Majin Gakuen for a new adventure RPG.

Gematsu reports Mato Kurenai Yuugekitai: Tokyo Twilight Ghosthunters is a PlayStation 3 and Vita title in the works at Homw Town Story developer for a 2014 Japanese release thanks to Arc System Works. The RPG is being directed by Shuuhou Imai, who created Tokyo Majin Gakuen, and shares “the same world outlook”, although it’s not clear if that means it is the same universe.

Deadly Premonition co-creator Tomio Kanazawa is producing, but the all-star cast doesn’t end there – Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu is supplying the opening theme.

The game is divided into 13 parts, each with 3D battle sequence as well as visual-novel style adventure portions, and boasts a “Live Motion Effect system” which is supposed to make characters seem alive, even down to how their fingers move.

Mato Kurenai Yuugekitai: Tokyo Twilight Ghosthunters will be on show at the Tokyo Game Show, which runs September 19 through 22. Siliconera translates the title as Demon Capital Crimson Red Secret Attack Troops: Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters.
