PES 2014 demo appears on PS3 ahead of intended release – report

PES 2014 was set to get a demo on PSN Europe from September 11, but it appears to have emerged on the store today.

The demo was flagged up by our user Ed Norton who also sent us the following photo of the PSN store.

We’ve asked Konami for comment on the matter. Stay tuned.

Yeesh…naughty Sony. The PSN team are having a bad few days what with this and the GTA V leaks (though I know the latter’s still a matter of debate). Hope they manage to tighten this stuff up for PS4. A more robust and effective PSN Store and service is one of my big hopes for the new console.

Just downloaded it and played a couple of matches. I gotta say the FOX engine is stunning! The gameplay is great too. It’s really challenging, though. Barely got a shot in and almost lost all my battles.
A couple of things are strange about the demo. You can’t choose the difficulty setting and somehow there are no substitutions. 4 teams (meaning 44 players) to play with.

It’s not there for me. Looks like they removed it.

Damn the PS3 and its 10 updates.

There must have been some kind of miscommunication because Sony’s European blog says it should be in the store.

It seems they have removed it now, though.
